In chapter 3, Object of Desire the scene Undo deconstruct the story of Noah's ark. The design of boatchair is based on an image of a Noah's ark toy from the Montgomery Ward's catalog of 1895. Montgomery Ward invented the mail order business. The boatchair is high-enough so when most people sit in it to navigate Object of Desire, they are suspended of the ground. The old Atari joystick take a bit of practice to get used to.
The work in the background is from the same scene, Undo. I interpreted traffic data collected over a period of three months. In includes locations from all around the world. The scene, Undo, lives on a server in Tel Aviv.
