Safe (Prutza), 2010
Mosler safe, sound
safe: 13.75 x 13.75 x 13.75" / 35 x 35 x 35 cm

Safe (Prutza) is a sound sculpture that references the cube and Cartesian grid. Symbolically, it
activates a tension between physical control and the experience of vastness.

In Hebrew, the title of the work is “prutza,” which refers to the condition of the safe as broken
into or violated, is also another word for female prostitute.
